How to Add Sound for a CD Player
Step 1: Click the CD player and click “Sound Source”
i. Click “Load WAVE File”
ii. Click the sound file in wav format
iii. Click “Open” to load the sound file
Step 3: Click “Sound Settings”
Step 4: Edit the Sound Settings.
Click “Finish” after changes the settings.
How to Turn on and Off a CD player automatically by using Trigger
When the avatar moves towards a CD player, music will start to play. When the avatar moves away from the CD player, music will stop.
Step 1: Refer to “How to Add Sound for a CD player” to add sound to a CD player.
Step 2: Open menu and click “Event Trigger”
Step 3: Click “Create” to create a new trigger. Double click the trigger to rename it.
i. Set “Object Proximity” for Event Type
ii. Set “Avatar” for Object#1
iii. Click the CD player
iv. Click “Add Selected” to set the CD player as Object#2
v. Enter “10” for Radius
vi. Set “Enter the Range” as Proximity Type
By doing so, when the avatar moves towards an area that is within 10 meters from the CD player, the sound will play
i. Set “Play Object Sound” for Action Type
ii. Click the CD player
iii. Click “Add Selected” to set the CD player as Object
iv. Set “True” for Sound Type
By doing so, when the trigger is activated, the object sound will start to play.
Step 6: Click the Trigger and click “Clone” to copy the trigger
i. Click the cloned trigger
ii. Enter “10.5” for Radius
iii. Click “Meters(m)” to confirm the radius
iv. Set “Leave the Range” for Proximity Type
v. Set “False” for Sound Type
By doing so, the object sound will be turned off when the avatar moves 10.5 meters away from the CD player.
Step 8: Click the red circles to turn on the triggers
