How to Update the schedule in 4D simulation

Method 1: Update a schedule in CSV format
When using file in CSV format from Excel to update the schedule, the data in Fuzor can only be replaced by column

Step 1: Click “Save”


Step 2: Select “Save as Fuzor CSV” and click “Save”


Step 3: Enter the file name and click “Save” to save the CSV


Step 4: Check the box “Comma” and click “OK”


Step 5: In Microsoft Excel, open the CSV file and edit the data

Step 6: Click “File” > “Save”

Step 7: Save the file in CSV format


Method A
Step 8.1.1: Click “Load” to load the CSV file


Step 8.1.2: Select the way you would like to load the file and click “OK”


- Append: Add the data in the XML file to the bottom of the schedule in Fuzor
- Merge By ID: Merge the data in the XML file to Fuzor by ID
- Overwrite: Overwrite the whole schedule in Fuzor and all the objects added in the tasks will be gone

Method B
Step 8.2.1: In Fuzor 4D simulation, right click the column name and click “MapColumn” to load the data for the column.

Remarks: Remember not to change the order of the schedule in Fuzor when loading in the edited CSV file. Otherwise, the data may assign to a different task.


Method 2: Update schedule in XML format exported from MS Project / P6 Primavera / Asta PowerProject

Step 1: Click “Load”


Step 2: Select the file and click “Open”


Step 3: Select the way you would like to load the XML file and click “OK”


- Append: Add the data in the XML file to the bottom of the schedule in Fuzor
- Merge By ID: Merge the data in the XML file to Fuzor by ID
- Overwrite: Overwrite the whole schedule in Fuzor and all the objects added in the tasks will be gone

Remarks: If you edited the schedule which is loaded in Fuzor in XML format, you can simply click “Reload” to update the schedule.
