Before entering VR: Download Windows Mixed Reality through Steam.
Open the Windows mixed reality portal to set up your work area and make sure your controllers are visible.
Step 1: Click on VR button on the Fuzor tool bar
Step 1: Choose between two teleport modes:
Step 2-To teleport through a project, hold down the top of the circle pad and release when you're ready to teleport.
Opening the VR Menu
Step 1: Press the menu button on the left controller.
Step 2: Press the menu button again to close the menu.
Step 1: Use one of the index triggers to select objects, menu options and for certain modes, such as markup, creator, measurement, etc.
Note: Select a highlighted object again to de-select it.
Step 1: Point at the door with the laser and click on the trigger
Alternate Step 1:
Step 1: Collide the VR controller with the door and click on the trigger
Note: Make sure doors are classified as doors so they will automatically be animated
Step 1: Go to the main tab and select Equipment
Step 2: Scroll through family objects by holding the select button on the scroll bar to the right side of the equipment icons. Select a object to place.
Step 3: Place selected objects by pointing to the surface you wish to place the object. Select “Finish” to stop placing items.
Step 1: Select an object with the index trigger.
Step 2: Push the top of the circle pad to indicate you wish to move and object with gravity.
Step 3: Press the index trigger again to place the object. The object will always fall towards the floor when in this mode.
Step 1: Select an object with the index trigger.
Step 2: Push the bottom of the circle pad to indicate you wish to move and object with gravity.
Step 3: Press the index trigger again to place the object. The object will stay in the location where the index trigger was pressed.
Step 1: After with or without gravity is selected, press up on the circle pad to rotate in the X axis (Red Axis)
Step 2: Press down on the circle pad to rotate in the Y axis (Green Axis)
15 degree Rotation
Step 1: After with or without gravity is selected, hold the inner trigger button and press up on the circle pad to rotate in the X axis (Red Axis)
Step 2: Hold the inner trigger button and press down on the circle pad to rotate in the Y axis (Green Axis)
Step 1: Select an object
Step 2: Hold the Menu button
Step 3: Click the Trigger to delete the object
Step 1: Select the Measurement option under Action Modes.
Note: The unit of measurements can be changed from Metric to Imperial in Fuzor under Preferences
Step 2: Choose between Measure Two points and Perpendicular Measure
Note: Must exit out of the VR menu before you can take measurements by pressing the menu button again.
Measure two points
Step 1: Use the select trigger to choose the first point, then use the select trigger to choose the second point.
Step 1: Select one surface. Fuzor will draw a line until it collides with another object and displays the distance for you.
Step 1: Select Mark up under Action modes
Step 2: Select a color on scale at the right. The color chosen will be displayed on the bottom bar.
Step 3: Hold down the index trigger to make a markup
Step 1: When the markup is placed, press down on the circle pad to take a screenshot.
Note: These will automatically save to the desktop.
Step 1: Open the main menu and select Material library
Step 2: Open the Presets bar and create a new preset
Step 3: Double click on the Preset name to rename it. Then click edit to add materials
Step 4: Click on the plus button next to the materials you wish to have available in the set.
Note: Clicking the export button will export a material library that may be imported to any project.
Change Materials in VR
Step 1: Select Material Library under Action modes in the VR menu.
Step 2: Click the arrows on the top right or left to choose the preset list you wish to use. Select the material. Then select the surface to apply the selected material.
Step 1: Click the inner trigger button to undo material changes and object movements.
Step 1: Check “Record Presence Mapper” in the VR menu
Upvote- To like an area, press up on the circle pad
Downvote- To dislike an area, press down on the circle pad
Step 2: Uncheck “Record Presence Mapper” in the VR Menu
Step 1: Enter selection mode
Step 2: Select the Element property tab.
Step 3: Select the object to view the Element Properties.
Note: Select the object again to deselect.
Step 1: Open the Navigation tab in the VR Menu. Then select any area in the 2D map to automatically teleport there.
Step 1: Open the Navigation tab in the VR Menu. Then select the Saved View tab. Select any saved view to automatically teleport there.
Note: Make sure to disable gravity before entering airplane mode by unchecking “Enable Gravity” in the VR Menu. If the saved view was taken off of the ground, the avatar will fall.
Step 1: Select Scale mode under Action Modes in the VR Menu. Select any scale or use the controllers to customize the scale.
Step 1: Hold both index trigger buttons
Step 2: Move both controllers in a downward motion to move the model down
Step 3: Move both controllers in an upward motion the move the model up
Step 4: Move the controllers away from each other to scale the model up
Step 5: Move the controllers towards each other to scale the model down
Step 6: Push and pull controllers in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction to rotate the model
Step 1: Hold down the trigger button on one controller to move the model up, down or rotate.
Teleport to exit scale mode
Step1: Click on the last tab at the top of the VR Menu and select a Shape Type
Step 2: Move the slider to adjust the size of the shape before placing.
Step 3: Place the controller in the starting position and click the index trigger button to begin the shape
Step 4: Click the index trigger again to change pipe or duct direction.
Note: While in Basic Shape, clicking the index trigger again will finish the shape.
Step 5: Click the Finish button to stop placing shapes.
Step 6: Return to the main VR menu and click on Selection
Step 7: Select and move to adjust into the correct location
Avatar and Airplane Mode
Step 1: Click on the last tab at the top of the VR menu. Select Movement then click on the airplane icon.
Note: Adjust the Fly speed with the bar adjustment
Step 2: To move forward or back, simply look in the direction that you wish to move and click up or down on the circle pad. For lateral movement, click right or left on the circle pad.
Note: Make sure to disable gravity before entering airplane mode by unchecking “Enable Gravity” in the VR Menu.
**If the enable gravity was not disabled before entering Fly mode, be sure to fly close to the ground before returning to Avatar mode or your avatar will fall.
Step 1: Enter VR.
Note: Fuzor defaults to Operator Mode.
Step 2: While your client or colleague is in VR, select any surface to bring up the Element Property for them to scroll through.
Step 3: Change materials or move objects in Fuzor and VR user will see the automatic update
Step 4: Select the object again for the VR user to see the updated Element properties if materials are changed.
Step 1: Click on the Visibility tab at the top of the VR Menu and select a model file.
Step 2: Click on the icons next to the categories to hide them
Step 3: Click on the icon again to show the categories
4D in VR (Only available in Fuzor VDC and VDC Viewer)
Before entering VR: Tie 3D model to schedule, customize animations, add vehicle and staging for site logistics as needed.
Step 1: Enter VR
Step 2: Click on the Construction tab at the top of the VR Menu and press the stop button to start from the beginning of the timeline.
Step 3: Press Play to play the sequence
Step 4: Press pause at any point in the sequences
Note: The simulation speed can be adjusted with the bar under the 4D Animation Controls
