Step 1: Open any file on Revit
Step 2: Navigate to the "Insert" tab shown below here you can see the Decal item in the ribbon bar.
Step 3: Click the "Decal" item
Step 4: Click the "Decal Types" item shown below.
Step 5: Here you can see the UI, click button shown below
Step 6: Enter a name for the Decal and press "OK"
Step 7: User will see this UI click the button next to source
Step 8: Select an image and click "Open"
Step 9: Image used will now be shown in UI
Step 10: I added another decal for this demonstration seen below.
Step 11: Click "Decal" and click "Place Decal"
Step 12: Click and place decals, I have placed four decals shown below.
Step 13: Click existing decal and using the dropdown menu shown below change decal to the type you want.
Note: Here I only have two decals because I only set up two types.
Step 14: I have switched the top two decals to Decal 1
Step 15: Launch Fuzor
Step 16: Navigate to the area with the decals, observe that all the decals are present in Fuzor
Step 17: Click on one of the top decals. Observe that these decals belong to decal 1 type. Click on the material.
Step 18: In material browser click texture image.
Step 19: Select an image from your computer and it will be reflected here.
Step 20: Observe that decals now have the texture assigned to them.
Step 21: Now I will select one of the bottom decals which are of type decal 2. I will select the material.
Step 22: Select an image for the texture.
Observe that the decals appear in Fuzor
