Step 1: Navigate to the Construction Filter Tab located under the construction tab

Step 2: Click on the button under the filters category to add a new Filter.

Note: The newly created filter can be seen under the filters categories

Step 3: Click on the button under the rules category.

Note: Filter rules can be added according to Document, Zone, Level, Category or Parameter.
Document: Allows users to add a filter rule based on the rvt files in the cache file

Zone: Allows users to add a filter rule based on the existing zones.

Level: Allows users to add a filter rule based on Levels in the scene

Category: Allows users to add a filter rule based on Category in the scene

Parameter: Allows users to add a filter rule based on the set parameter

For this tutorial I would like to add a filter to include only specific pipes using a parameter rule.

Note: The pipes that I would like to include are in A9007-A-ScienceCenter-Central-A14.rvt.
Step 4: Click on the Document radio button
Step 5: Select the revit file as shown in the image below.
Step 6: Click "Apply"

Step 7: Click "Parameter" radio button
Note: The property indicated below will be used as a parameter.

Step 8: Enter the parameter that you would like to filter by. select the operator. Click the Value.
Step 9: Click "Apply"

Step 10: Click "OK" when you are done adding rules.

Note: Click "Highlight" to view all the objects under that filter.
